Recruitment for young trad musicians aged between 13 and 17 is now underway as Michael Rooney is selected to work with Music Generation Leitrim Youth Trad Orchestra in the development of a new suite of music.
Michael Rooney has just been announced as the composer who will work with the newly formed Music Generation Leitrim Youth Trad Orchestra in the development of a new suite of music. Michael will be working with the Directors of the orchestra John Carty and Aidan Shannon who along with Lorraine Sweeney were recently appointed to lead the development of the new music project, which will be based in Drumshanbo.
